There’s a group of boys in Narok who live on the streets and are heavily addicted to drugs. These boys know us by name. Yesterday, while picking electrical supplies for our housing, they found us. I had about 15 of them outside of truck talking to me. I had an opportunity to minister to them in that time of waiting for Aaron to return from the store.
Afterwards, we told them to go to the restaurant where we normally feed them. They took off running and leaping in the air all giddy.
The bridge to that side of town is out and there was flash flooding throughout town. Stuck in a traffic jam trying to get to the boys to feed them, Aaron looked over at me and said he was just going to run across town so the boys didn’t think we left them. It was pouring down raining.
When I finally arrived, I found a soaking wet hubby and an excited group of hungry boys eating away at their food.
Pray for these boys. The nights have been cold and wet!
